Port Gingerbread Festival

Now in its second year, the Port Gingerbread Festival is a contest and public exhibition of artistic gingerbread creations made by people of all ages. From “traditional” gingerbread houses to ships, churches, lighthouses, carriages or castles – the possibilities are endless! This year, the event will take place from December 13th to 15th, 2024, in historic and festive downtown Newburyport. Admission to the exhibition is free; donations are encouraged to benefit Nourishing the North Shore, a nonprofit working with growers and food outlets to ensure that all residents can access fresh local produce.
