My journey into holistic health wasn’t just a career choice; it was a calling born out of a relentless passion for helping others thrive. From my early days, starting out as a registered nurse in 1979, and throughout my extensive tenure in critical care settings, medical-surgical units, home health settings, and community hospice care, I’ve witnessed the limitations of conventional medicine in addressing the holistic needs of individuals seeking true wellness. This realization fueled my pursuit of higher education, culminating in a Masters and Doctorate in Public Health from Johns Hopkins, where I delved into state and federal public health initiatives and worked in pharmaceutical and medical device research. However, I found myself increasingly removed from the patient’s side and disillusioned by the systems’ limitations.
Since 1980, I’ve immersed myself in holistic health, applying it to my own well-being and integrating it into my patient care whenever possible. I’ve come to understand that true health encompasses the balance and healing of the body, mind, and spirit—a holistic approach that traditional medicine often overlooks. Healing modalities include Reiki Energy and Rapid Transformational Therapy, an innovative hypnotherapy that is designed to extract the root cause of every client's issues within a few sessions rather than treating presenting symptoms. RTT rapidly and permanently removes limiting beliefs and habits by exploring with the client how, where, and when they acquired them and then helping each client understand and reframe the beliefs that hurt them and held them back.
