Contents Specialist / Mover
The Contents Specialist / Mover is responsible for transporting customer belongings with care and precision. This role includes packing, inventory, debris removal, contents cleaning, and warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow direction.
Core Duties:
- Perform content jobs from start to finish, including inventory, pack-out, storage, and return.
- Perform contents packing, wrapping, and manipulation to prevent damage.
- Safely load, transport, and unload items between customer sites and the warehouse.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture and larger household items.
- Debris removal from job sites.
- Manipulate and organize contents to allow remediation teams to perform their work.
- Inventory contents under supervision using company procedures.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and contents organization.
- Perform pre-cleaning and cleaning using BKP procedures.
- Take direction from the Project Manager and work cooperatively with others.
- Follow BKP standards in safeguarding other people’s property.
- Uphold excellent attention to detail and safety throughout all duties.
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Support other duties and special projects as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
· Hourly Pay: $25 per hour· Schedule: 20–30 hours per week with the potential to transition to full-time
· Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (No weekends required)
· Flexibility: Work schedule may vary based on project needs; flexibility is essential
· Coverage: Workers’ Compensation
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years old· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Moving experience preferred
· Must have reliable transportation to the warehouse location or job site
· Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills
· Ability to lift 50–75+ pounds regularly
· Ability to be on your feet for 6 to 8 hours a day
· Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge
· Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer
· Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation
· Able to work well with others and interact with customers
