Yoga for Runners at Riverside Yoga + Massage
Attention Runners!
This 4-week Yoga for runners series with Shannon Worth will focus on helping the body recover from or prepare for running by focusing on over-all flexibility, hip and feet activation and strength, stability and balance. All levels of yoga experience, all levels of runners, and non-runners are all welcome! You are welcome to sign up for the full 4 week series at the discounted rate ($50) or drop into a single class for $15.
This workshop is perfect complement for athletes preparing for Newburyport River Run 1/2 Marathon and 5K on May 31st!

About Shannon Worth
Shannon dabbled in a yoga practice on and off for years strictly as a workout, as she studied and worked in the fitness industry for years. With a regular yoga practice, she noticed an enormous increase in strength, both physically and mentally. Progress came so naturally and without any aggression or even pain that she had been taught, as an athlete and trainer, should be present to become stronger. Shannon’s yoga practice became so beneficial to her life, in her job, relationships, and physical body that she was compelled to spread the wealth--she started teaching yoga in her physical education classes and to teams that she coached, and completed her 200-hr. teacher training at Back Bay Yoga.
