Whittier Home Association Annual Meeting
Join us for a Spring get together and a great meal at the Hollow Café, 194 Main St. in Amesbury from 5:00 to 7:30.
The cost is $15 per person, payable at the door. And be sure to bring a guest, because after the brief business meeting we will have a fascinating program called “Bridging History” presented by Pamela Fenner, past president of the Whittier Home and founder of Michaelmas Press, and Jay Williamson, fine art and antiques appraiser and consultant.
Fenner and Williamson will share their experiences as members of the 2012 sub-committee researching, writing text, and finding images for the interpretive panels for the shared-use path on the new Whittier Bridge and the Garrison Trailheads. Final designs of some of the panels will be on display.
You won’t want to miss this meeting so please make reservations by sending email to chrisbryant1@comcast.net or calling the Whittier Home at 978-388-1337 and leaving a message with the number of people in your party, and stating your preference of chicken or fish for your meal. We must receive your reservations by April 20th to facilitate meal preferences and seating.
