Vintage Base Ball Double Header: Lowell Base Ball Club vs. Newburyport Clamdiggers

Take family and friends out to the ballgame, nineteenth-century style. The four teams of the Essex Base Ball Association (the Newburyport Clamdiggers, Lowell Base Ball Club, Portsmouth Rockinghams, and the Lynn Live Oaks) play using 1860s rules. At these fun, historically accurate games, gloves are not allowed, players pitch underhand, and a ball bounced once and caught is an out.

Grass field seating; bring blankets and lawn chairs. No reserved seating; end times are approximate. Game is weather permitting.
