Old Town/Byfield/Plum Island - Newbury, The Town I Remember

Due to its popularity, the Newbury Town Library will host a second gathering of longtime town residents to continue the conversation about what it was like growing up in town. With the help of a moderator, these first speakers will encourage participation from the audience at large. Everyone who attends will have a chance to share if they want to. The goal is to capture a wide breadth of life experience, local history and perspective. The Library will video the event for part of its local history collection, and post the video online for all who wish to see. This event is part of the library’s ongoing effort to document and preserve the history of the town.
