Oboist Peggy Pearson and the Apple Hill Quartet to perform in Newburyport

Oboist Peggy Pearson and the Apple Hill String Quartet will perform on Sunday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at the Unitarian Church, 26 Pleasant St., Newburyport, the last of four concerts in the 2016 Jean C. Wilson Music Series. 

The program will include an exquisite chamber version of Haydn’s “Miracle” Symphony. Yi Yiing Chen presents the world premiere of her new work “Quartet for Oboe and Strings,” and the Apple Hill String Quartet takes center stage with Schubert’s “Quartet in G Major, Op. 161.”
