Non-Profit Grant Writing Seminar
Please join the Chamber as we present a grant writing education seminar on Wednesday, November 18th from 9 - 10:30 AM. Our presenter will be Nancy J. London, Principal and Co-Founder of Grants Etcetera, Inc., a consulting company that specializes in resource development, grant writing and research, strategic planning, program design and implementation, board development, organizational change, and training in each of these areas.
Her clients include Grove Hall’s Project RIGHT, Medicine Wheel Productions, Children’s Services of Roxbury, Roxbury Youthworks, Inc., Andover Community Trust, the City of Malden, and many others. Before co-founding this company in 2002 Ms. London served as the Chief of Staff to the Mayor in Newburyport, Massachusetts helping the City go from a deficit situation to its first surplus in many years. In addition to consulting, Ms. London currently works for the Mayor of Newburyport as the City’s part-time grant writer. Ms. London received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Ohio State University in 1983. She is one of nine founders of the Hill View Montessori Charter Public School in Haverhill, MA that opened its doors to students in 2004. Ms. London served on the school’s founding Board of Trustees for five years and after taking a break, served a second term for six years, and served as its Chair from 2012 until 2015.
Ms. London served on the Trustees Committee of the Board, responsible for board recruitment and orientation, board evaluation and board development. In addition to her consulting work and volunteerism at Hill View, Ms. London serves as adjunct faculty at Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
