Newburyport Choral Society 2018 Spring Concert: Harmony

The NCS Spring Concert entitled “Harmony” features the 150-voice NCS chorus, professional vocal soloists, and a 17-piece orchestra performing Mozart’s majestic and beautiful Requiem.   The chorus will also explore the music of maverick 18th century Czech composer Jan Dismas Zelenka, known for his surprising and inventive harmonies and interplay of vocal parts.  Please join NCS as we present one of the most memorable and important works in the choral canon, and venture into lesser known but equally intriguing 18^th century music!
