NEW Genealogy Club this fall!

Informational Meeting Thursday, October 13th from 5:30-6:30p

I am writing to let you know that there has been interest in starting up a Genealogy Club here at the NTL.  If you’ve done some family research but didn’t get very far or have never done any and are wondering where to begin, a club might be just the right place for you to receive ideas, resources and motivation to delve into researching your ancestors.

There is an informational/introductory meeting on Thursday, October 13th at 5:30 at the library for you to talk about:

• What you would like to gain from the club

• How you would like to see it set up

• When the best dates and times are for meeting 

Meetings can be monthly or every other month. Professional genealogists can come to some of the meetings and speak about particular issues or just to give tips and suggestions for planning and organizing your family research.  Ancestry.com is also now available at all library computers.

If you’ve watched the television show "Who do You Think You Are?" and would like to gather with other like-minded folks to try to answer that question, come to the informational meeting on October 13th at 5:30.
