Loudon Wainwright III

Wainwright is a rare talent. Whether in front of a camera or behind a guitar, he has the ability to touch, move, and inspire his audience.

From the hilariously novel to the heartbreaking and brutally honest autobiographical, Wainwright brings tears to the eyes of his fans, one way or another. We are very excited to have this Grammy winner grace our stage.

Born in North Carolina in 1946, his career began in the late 1960’s. Using a witty, self-mocking style, Wainwright has recorded albums on eleven different labels and has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards, winning in 2010 for Best Traditional Folk Album. Besides music, Wainwright is probably most well known for his role as the “singing surgeon” on the television show, MASH, as well as roles in popular films, Big Fish and Knocked Up.

This is one show that we can’t wait for.
