GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing) Support Group
Link House is honored to host the Amesbury Chapter of GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing). This support group is dedicated to individuals and families who have lost someone they love through the disease of addiction/substance use disorder or misuse of drugs. Examples of a substance-related passing can be any of the following: intentional or accidental opioid overdose, suicide related to substance use, a car accident as the result of being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, or long-term complications of chronic liver disease. ???? ???????? ?????? ???????? ???? ???? ???????????????? ?????????????? ???? ????????????????. No one should have to navigate this kind of grief alone. GRASP offers sources of help, compassion, and—most of all—understanding from others who truly know the weight of this loss. Together, we create a safe space for healing, connection, and hope. If you or someone you know could benefit from supportive community and shared strength, we welcome you to join us. Beginning in April, the group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m in Amesbury. There is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required prior to the first meeting. For more information or to preregister, please contact Kate Choquette at kchoquette@linkhouseinc.org or 978-834-6583 x220. To learn more about GRASP, visit the website: www.grasphelp.org
