Fluid art, also known as acrylic pouring or flow art, is a painting technique in which artists use liquid acrylic paints to create vibrant, abstract designs on canvases. In this six-week course led by talented artist Sarah Mack, you will learn multiple techniques and will create a different piece each week. Techniques like pouring, dripping, and swirling enable intricate patterns, cells, and organic forms, creating a sense of movement and depth. Fluid art is popular for its unpredictability and allows artists to experiment with color and texture without traditional brushwork. This class is for all levels of artistry. Sarah is an internationally known fluid artist and has been creating beautiful abstract pieces of art using this medium for over six years. She has taught this art form to over 300 students.
