Emma Andrews Library Paint and Sing Event During Trails and Sails
Find the hidden treasures in your own backyard! Essex County Heritage is sponsoring Trails and Sails, a county wide celebration of the rich history, culture and scenic beauty of Essex County. Come to the Emma Andrews Library and Community Center at 77 Purchase Street in Newburyport on Sunday September 27 for two free presentations, a morning painting demonstration and an afternoon of song.
Enjoy a watercolor painting demonstration by acclaimed local artist Anne Recchia from 10:30AM to noon. Anne who is well-known for capturing the beauty of local landscapes will paint a lighthouse scene. In case of bad weather, this event may be canceled or held indoors where capacity is limited to 45 people. Visit the library website www.emmaandrewslibrary.org for updates. In the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM enjoy the lively songs and captivating storytelling of Michael Forney. Michael is presenting a musical record of growing up in the South.
