Community Solar Farm Informational Meeting
Interested in solar energy but have too many trees? Roof faces north? Live in a condo? The Town of Atkinson Energy Commission is sponsoring an upcoming seminar to explore the topic of community solar farms. The informational meeting will be held on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30 pm at the Kimball Library at 5 Academy Avenue in Atkinson, NH. The presentation will be given by Dan Clapp, ReVision Energy NH Branch Manager.
Learn how a group of homeowners can be paired with a host and invest in a large solar array which is built on the ground in an open field. 100% of the generation from the solar farm is sent to the grid and automatically credited to the accounts of the solar shareholders, based on their stakes in the solar farm.
