Belleville Youth Fundraising Walk

On September 18th from 12-2pm, there will be a fundraising Walk for Kenyan Girls’ Education sponsored by the youth of the Belleville Congregational Church and Beads for Education. Beads for Education’s goal is to improve the status of women in Kenya through girl’s education and business development in this impoverished part of the world. 

The walk will begin at the Belleville Congregational Church and proceed to the boat ramp at Cashman Park. There, walkers will collect gallon jugs of water, just as many Kenyan children collect their families' supply of water each day and return to the Belleville church. 

We invite the community, including all Newburyport Church Youth groups, their friends and other interested groups or individuals to participate. Walkers can choose to be sponsored or pay a $5.00 registration fee the day of the walk with all proceeds going to BEADS.
