Enjoy a variety of farm activities and crafts during the festival: Watch the Essex Base Ball Association play by 1861 rules. See tractors and other farm equipment spanning the last eighty years. Try your hand and win prizes at corn husking. Learn how simple machines help farmers pump water, press cider, and prepare food. Enjoy a wagon ride through brightly colored autumn fields, build scarecrows, and make fall crafts. Tour the 1690 stone and brick manor house. Lunch vendors with vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, along with cider, donuts, and farm produce.
