Featured this year will be the exceptional talent of our young and upcoming poets, with readings by the winners of Amesbury Library’s Poetry Contest, and the Whittier Home’s 2nd Annual “Gathering of Verses” Poetry Contest
These young poets possess a maturity beyond their years, and remarkable insight and kinship to Whittier and his passion for social justice and equality.
