Advanced Social Media Marketing for Non-Profits!
You aren't new to social media. Your organization may already have a presence on Facebook and does its best to blog regularly. Now what? You know your post from your tweet, but how can all of this help your organization? This workshop is designed to help you to assess which social media tools may be best for you to reach your marketing and/or outreach goals.
You will learn to Look, Listen and Share to find your audience, join in conversations, spur discussions of your own, learn when to take conversations offline and determine how to draw attention to your news and accomplishments.
Workshop leader Julie Salickram. Marketing Manager at Firehouse Center for the Arts, will share writing prompts and engagement opportunities for some of the top tier social media platforms, while also touching on other important niche marketing opportunities. The initial presentation will wrap up with a Q&A session, followed by an interactive workshop to clearly show you how to use the tools you learned. Every participant is invited to bring a laptop for the workshop portion of the session where our host will assist you with your online profile on the social media sites of your choosing. This is also a great chance to learn from the experiences of other workshop attendees.
Your audience may already be sharing information about you online. Make sure you are a part of the conversation.
