Newburyport Art presents our annual Young & Budding Artists Show
Newburyport, MA - Newburyport Art (NAA) presents the Young and Budding Artists Exhibition, featuring the artwork of regional students (Grades 1–12). Year after year, this show is always among the most fun and inspiring collections that the gallery produces. At its core, the exhibition is a celebration of the creativity and passion that young artists possess. From colorful paintings to intricate sculptures, the exhibition promises to delight visitors with a diverse range of styles and techniques. The artwork on display is a testament to the power of creativity and the importance of nurturing it in young people. By giving them a platform to express themselves and show their work in a professional setting, Newburyport Art hopes to encourage and inspire the next generation of artists in their future artistic endeavors.
This year, jurors Evan Jespersen and Erin Bligh will be selecting award winners, some of whom may receive a small cash prize. Evan Jespersen is a 3D artist based in Massachusetts. He studied sculpture at Alfred University and Arizona State University and his work has been exhibited in galleries internationally. Erin Bligh is a multimedia artist working in encaustic, mixed-media painting, leatherworks and digital illustration, among many others. With a curiosity and thirst for exploration, their life’s focus has been on creation. Newburyport Art is thrilled to welcome Evan and Erin as its jurors.
Join artists, staff, and jurors at Newburyport Art on Sunday, March 12th from 2:00pm–4:00pm for a celebratory reception and awards presentation by Evan and Erin. The galleries are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am–5:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm–5:00pm. Newburyport Art is closed on Mondays.
