Anatomy of a Mystery
Do you love reading mysteries? Would you like to write your own? Hear from a retired medical examiner, a lawyer and an Episcopal priest as they share the history of mysteries and insight into why so many are set in the church. This how-to practicum will help you learn how to write a mystery and start to put together a mystery of your own.
Mary Jumbelic, M.D., author and former chief medical examiner of Onondaga County, New York, performed thousands of autopsies and is a strong voice for the deceased. She explores through creative non-fiction the imprint the dead have made on her humanity. She’s joined by SCHC Companion Barbara Diamond and SCHC Companion-in-Charge Jackie Schmitt.
