Join us for an evening of networking with other young professionals at Ipswich Country Club. This first mixer is the launch party for the Greater Newburyport YPP - Young Professionals with a Purpose!

The purpose of this group is to unite Newburyport's burgeoning young professionals for the purpose of business networking and making an impact in the community. This event will feature a different style of networking and programming that is catered to today's young business leaders. Bring your friends or colleagues who have never been to a Chamber event so they can see what it's all about. There will be an opportunity for speed networking, and everyone will leave having made at least 5 new contacts to expand their network.

YPP mixers every other month will showcase a different local charity, nonprofit, or cause each time, who will benefit from a donation at the door and a charity raffle. For this event, we'll hear briefly from Fran Larkin from Pennies for Poverty about some of the needs in our local community and how young people can make an impact. Their motto is "2 cents for change." Collectively, our spare change really can make a difference, so save your pennies from now until January 15th! Bring your piggy banks or coin jars or pocket change, or raid your pantries for nonperishable food you probably won't eat. We'll have a penny collection jar and a box for canned food donations.

Enjoy hors d'ouevres catered by Ipswich Country Club and a frozen yogurt bar from Orange Leaf. Cash bar (ATM on site).
