Yin Yoga & New Moon Ritual: The Alchemy of Darkness @RISEilience

The Alchemy of Darkness is a 90-minute experience centered around the November New Moon and the invitation to slow down, turn inward, and create space for reflection and renewal. Drawing from the complementary philosophies of Yin and Yang, the experience explores the balance between doing and being, movement and stillness, effort and ease.

The evening will begin with grounding and guided reflection before moving into a slow, meditative Yin Yoga practice. Reflective prompts and moments of stillness will be woven throughout the practice, inviting participants to listen inward and notice what may be ready to shift, release, or receive their attention.

The experience will conclude with journaling, intention setting, and a New Moon ritual designed to support reflection, integration, and renewal. Participants will leave with an opportunity to reconnect with themselves and create intentional space for what comes next.

Participants will:

• Develop a deeper understanding of the complementary qualities of Yin and Yang and how they can be experienced through the body and daily life.

• Experience the benefits of slowing down and creating intentional space for stillness and reflection.

• Explore personal reflection through guided journaling and mindful awareness.

• Identify something they are ready to release, shift, or create space for as they enter a new lunar cycle.

• Leave with a personal intention or quality they would like to cultivate moving forward.

About the Facilitator:

Jamie MacKenzie brings over 17 years of experience supporting others through personal growth, mind-body practices, and meaningful change.

As a transformational coach, clinical hypnotherapist, Reiki Master teacher and Yin Yoga teacher, Jamie brings a deeply grounded, human approach to her work. She loves blending neuroscience with the wisdom of mind-body practices, creating experiences that invite others to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and make space for what comes next. She believes meaningful transformation happens when people feel both empowered and supported.
