A presentation of the Salem State University Psychology Colloquium Series
Speaker: Howard Gardner, PhD, professor of cognition and education at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education
Dr. Gardner is best known for his development of the theory of multiple intelligences in the 1980s, which critiqued the notion that there exists a single human intelligence that can be assessed by standard psychometric instruments. The theory transformed pedagogical practices in schools around the world.
