The Ruta Beggars concert
Appealing to traditional and progressive acoustic music fans alike, The Ruta Beggars combine bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate vocal harmonies, fiery instrumentals, and plenty of fun. Featuring Micah Nicol on guitar with a rotating cast of New England’s best bluegrass musicians, The Ruta Beggars have been praised for their creative yet tasteful arrangements and charming performances.

Tickets also may be purchased at the gate (check or cash only) or by calling (978) 388-2552. There is no reserved seating. Handicapped parking is available on site only for vehicles with handicapped parking permit. All others must park in Maudslay State Park lot. MAC participates in the MCC Card to Culture Program.

Location
Maudslay Arts Center is located at 95 Curzon Mill Road in Newburyport. The concerts are held rain or shine, moving inside to the MAC Concert Barn when weather dictates. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner.
Fees/Admission
Patio seating (tables and chairs) is $35, while lawn seating (bring your own chairs or blankets) is $30. Children 12 and under are free. MAC participates in the MCC Card to Culture Program.
