The Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet from Saint Petersburg, Russia will perform in St. Anna’s Chapel at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Join us for this unique opportunity to hear one of the master quartets of Europe in the intimate and beautiful space of St. Anna’s Chapel. The String Quartet, founded in 1939, is a monument to musical history. They are being presented in partnership with the Ballets Russes Art Initiative which promotes Russian and Post-Soviet Arts.
The program will feature von Weber’s Clarinet Quintet, Op. 34, Stravinsky’s Three Pieces for String Quartet [1914] and Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 3, Op 30.
