The Lonely Heartstring Band at Firehouse Center for the Arts

The Lonely Heartstring Band performs a fresh take on traditional bluegrass! Their inspiring and soothing tunes will engage your mind, heart and soul from their first chord to the end of the show.

Based in Boston, the band met at Berklee College of Music and have been performing together ever since. The quintet, officially formed in 2012, consists of George Clements on guitar and vocals, Patrick M’Gonigle on fiddle and vocals, Matt Witler on mandolin, Gabe Hirshfeld on banjo and Charles Clements on bass and vocals.

The Lonely Heartstring Band was recently awarded first place in the Best New Band Competition at the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival in Maine. Playing traditional bluegrass instruments, The Lonely Heartstring Band will cohesively captivate your mind, heart and soul with their blend of acoustic and traditional arrangements.
