Pennies for Poverty Food Drive at Shaws in Port Plaza

On November 14, 15, and 16, Pennies for Poverty will team with Shaw’s in Port Plaza (Storey Avenue in Newburyport) to collect food and donations for area food pantries. From 8 am until 9 pm, each day, customers can purchase pre-packaged bags of food requested by local food pantries. Pick up the bag when you enter the store; pay for it at the register; leave it in the store for pick up by the food pantries at the end of food drive. There will be several sizes/prices for the food bags. If you would like to volunteer for a two hour shift at the food drive, please contact us at pennies@penniesforpoverty.org.
