SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 7:30PM The Boston Camerata ~ A Verdant Grove ~ A Program of Americana The program features wonderful, early American songs and hymns, circa 1790-1840, most of them from original imprints and manuscripts from Newburyport, Boston, and New Hampshire, performed by The Boston Camerata's superb soloist ensemble, directed by Anne Azéma. The concert includes a special group of rare Shaker songs, mainly from unpublished manuscript sources in Sabbathday Lake, Maine. First Parish Church (Google Maps) Tickets ,$37 |
