Joel Brown at Emma Andrews Library
The Emma Andrews library is hosting Newburyport's own Joel Brown on Thursday, September 28 at 7:30pm.
Joel will be presenting his latest mystery, PLOVER ISLAND BREAKDOWN.
Plover Island Breakdown, featuring Baxter McLean, is the fourth Libertyport Mystery following Mirror Ball Man, Mermaid Blues and Revolution Rock. Baxter is a one-hit-wonder from the 1980's who keeps sticking his nose where it doesn't belong-including into murder. The series takes a satirical but affectionate look at life in a town where townies, artists and yuppies coexist - but not always peacefully - and the tourists just keep coming.
