The 23rd annual Holiday House Tour, an exciting collection of private homes and unique community treasures reflecting four centuries of greater Newburyport's cultural and architectural heritage takes place on Saturday, December 10th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
For the seventh consecutive year, the Holiday House Tour is sponsored by Stone Ridge Properties to benefit the Custom House Maritime Museum. “As both long time sponsor of the Holiday House Tour and local real estate experts, we urge everyone who appreciates Newburyport’s unique and historic character to tour this year’s showcase of elegant homes and distinctive spaces,” said Sandy Berkenbush, Partner at Stone Ridge Properties.
“For many, this tour has become a part of the annual holiday experience. The range of styles and appointments throughout these elegant tour homes generates an exciting holiday experience while showcasing the unique history and culture of the Newburyport area. We are delighted to support the museum through our sponsorship of the Holiday House Tour.” Founded in 1991, Stone Ridge Properties is an independent real estate firm serving property buyers and sellers in the greater Newburyport area through convenient offices in Newburyport and Amesbury.
Coffee and chowder, compliments of Starbucks and Starboard Galley, will be served to tour participants from noon to 2 p.m. at the Custom House Maritime Museum, where you can also bid on one-of-a-kind wreaths at the Silent Wreath Auction displayed throughout the museum’s first-floor foyer.
Advanced tickets are now on sale on a first-come, first-served basis, and available online here, at the Museum Gift Shop during open hours, by phoning the museum at 978-462-8681, or by mail by downloading and completing the Advance Ticket Order Form brochure here.
Tickets in advance for the general public are $25 each, and $22 for museum members. Day-of-Tour tickets are $30. Advanced tickets must be exchanged for the 2016 Holiday House Tour Book which will be available beginning December 8th at the museum.
