Newbury Boy Scout Troop 44 is holding a fund-raising breakfast on June 27th, from 7 - 10:30 AM, at the Byfield Community Arts Center (aka the Grange Hall), 7 Central St, Byfield. The delicious breakfast consists of pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, coffee, juice, and tea. We feature real maple syrup produced fresh and locally by the Field Family in Byfield! The boys of Troop 44 do all the cooking, prep, and serving. Ticket are $5 for senior citizens and children under 12, and $7 for adults. Tickets are available at the door, at Flowers on Main, 56 Main St, Byfield, or from members of Troop 44.
For the past ten years, the Pancake Breakfast has been Troop 44's biggest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds fund troop activities such as community service projects, camping trips, summer camp, trips to our national Capital and Gettysburg, as well as merit badge events throughout the year. Troop 44 serves Newbury, Byfield and Plum Island, and we do community service and other projects in the Greater Newburyport area too!
Please stop by and fuel up yourself and your family with a hearty breakfast before going to the huge Music and Arts Festival down the street at Manter's Field, Byfield from 10 AM - 3 PM! You'll be supporting the fine young men of Troop 44, and your community as well! Thank you in advance for your support."
