George Winston – Solo Piano – The Summer Show

Pianist extraordinaire George Winston returns to the Firehouse! This solo piano concert will feature George’s Summer Show, which will include melodic spring and summer type songs, some of Vince Guaraldi’s Peanuts pieces, pieces inspired by the New Orleans piano & the stride piano traditions, and songs from his upcoming album, Spring Carousel - A Cancer Research Benefit, scheduled for release in 2015.

Since 1972 George has released thirteen solo piano albums, and his latest releases are Love Will Come -The Music Of Vince Guaraldi Vol 2 (2010), and Gulf Coast Blues & Impressions 2 - A Louisiana Wetlands Benefit (2012).
