7th Annual Music for Change Fundraiser

The Chicken Slacks, the seven-piece R&B band that wowed the sold-out crowd at last year's Music for Change, are returning a final time! Their return visit makes Music for Change a not-to-be-missed event! Inspired by the classic STAX and Muscle Shoals recordings of the 60s and 70s, The Chicken Slacks are known for energetic, non-stop soul and rhythm and blues skillfully arranged with a powerhouse vocalist and a charismatic emcee. Great dancing and great listening.

Starting at 6:00, the Music for Change Fundraiser will offer a selection of small plates catered by our in-kind sponsor For the Love of Food and Drink. They are known for their fresh local menus and unique style. You can expect an enticing array of small plates, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Plus they will cater a green event  all place settings will be composted after use. 

This years silent and live auctions will feature some new twists. Indeed, something for everyone! Watch Facebook for previews of auction items.

Enjoy a cash bar.  Bring your dancing shoes or take in the evening sitting at a reserved table with friends. It is sure to be a great time! And all proceeds go to local social service agencies to provide emergency help to those in need.
