5th Annual Music for Change
On Saturday, November 4, Pennies for Poverty hosts its 5th Annual Music for Change, An Evening of Good Times and Good Tunes to Benefit our Neighbors in Need, at the Elks Lodge in Newburyport, MA.
The event features return engagements of EJ Ouellette and Crazy Maggy and Liz Frame and the Kickers . Bring your dancing shoes. Or enjoy the music sitting at a reserved table with friends.
Starting at 6:30, the evening will also offer a selection of small plates donated by local restaurants, a silent and live auction and cash bar. Music begins at 6:45 pm. The last set concludes at 10:00 pm.
Don't miss being a part of this community event! Tickets ($30) and reserved tables for 8 ($240) are available (for no extra fee) online at www. musicforchange.yapsody.com. You can also buy tickets at Dyno Records in Newburyport after September 15th.
You can also donate online to be a Patron of Music for Change ($100). Your name will be listed in the event program that is used by attendees to review auction items and learn more about the bands and local service organizations. Businesses can also buy program ads online. These transactions can be made online for no extra fee at www.musicforchange.yapsody.com, where you can also see photos from last year’s event.
All proceeds from this event go directly to address urgent needs and underfunded programs at social service organizations that help those living in poverty in Newburyport and surrounding towns.
