Social Media, Marketing, and Events Intern with Newburyport Adult Education

Newburyport Adult & Community Education (NACE) is seeking a Social Media, Marketing, and Events Intern. This is a great opportunity to gain, as well as use, your customer service skills, marketing and social media talents. The hours are approximately 5-10 hours per week but are very flexible. Some work will be done at the Nock Middle School late aft/early eve, other work may be done on your own time. Great for a student with flexibility!

We are seeking someone who is interested in bringing their creative and organizational skills to assist NACE with our programming and class scheduling. We in turn will provide mentorship. Skills required are Google Docs and Sheets, Word, Excel, advanced knowledge of FB and IG, working knowledge of Newburyport, and superior attention to detail. If you immediately spot a misspelled word on a menu or a sign, let's chat! The ideal candidate is a team player, outgoing, enjoys working with the public, and extremely organized.

NACE is a program under the umbrella of the Newburyport school system but is fully self-sustaining. Our mission is to provide lifelong learning opportunities for all in the greater Newburyport community. We also offer SAT test prep and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. This internship is unpaid.
