I grew up in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and attended Carleton College in Minnesota where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry in 1981. After a brief tour selling corporate medical and life insurance plans, I went back to college and received his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1990. I have held a variety of interesting positions including: bar tender; pizza chef; insurance sales; painting contractor; catalyst R&D; technical service; sales, and marketing. I currently serve as chair of Storm Surge, and work as the VP of Sales, for INroof.solar Inc.
Before coming to Newburyport, I was a founder and former Managing Director at MIRATECH Corporation based in Tulsa, OK which manufactures and sells catalysts, silencers, heat recovery and control systems for industrial engines. My involvement in community boards began in 1992 including Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, Tulsa Chair and member of the state board; Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Legislative Chair; University of Tulsa Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board Chair; and Carleton College 1981 Annual Alumni Fund.
