DESCRIPTION:The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry has a new event for members!\n\n\n\n~  Announcing YEAT MEETUP 17  ~\n\n \n\nJoin us to compete or spectate as Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry member companies face off in an Olympics-like competition that will test athletic\, mental and team-building abilities.  New England Sports Park will host this spectacular NEW event that brings local companies together in a fun\, interactive and often silly series of challenges.\n\n \n\nYEAT: a Newburyport slang word used as a greeting\, perfectly sums up the spirit of this event designed to bring Chamber members together for an afternoon of spirited competition.\n\n \n\nOpen to the first 40 area companies and teams who can demonstrate that they have what it takes to ascend to the top of podium.  Not for the faint hearted\, however designed for all abilities of physical and intelligence prowess.\n\n \n\nTeams will be comprised of 5 members (18+) and are encouraged to showcase their spirit (for an additional award opportunity!).\n\n\n\nThe event with end with an Awards Ceremony and food buffet and beer garden! Be sure to check out Party On!
