DESCRIPTION:Special Event! \n\n\n\nFriday\, October 12th\n\n\n\n7:00 - 9:30 pm\n\n\n\n"Fall 2012 Crush" - Red Wine Demo and Harvest Buffet"\n\n\n\nThis only happens once a year!!! The Fall Crush is a busy time at Mill River Winery. It is when the grapes are harvested\, crushed and fermented into wine. Join us for a casual evening at the winery with owner/winemakers Rick Rousseau and Steve Tudal as they demonstrate making handcrafted red wines.    \n\n\n\nTo start off the evening\, we will have our wines paired with appetizers and cheeses for you to sample. Once everyone has gathered\, Rick and Steve will talk about the winemaking process and demonstrate how to press a red wine. The Mill River team will take you on a "behind the scenes" tour\, show you our 2012 vintage wines at different stages of fermentation and show you our technique of "punching down" the fermentation cap.    \n\n\n\nAfter the demonstration\, join us for a harvest buffet including the best homemade calzones on the planet and your choice of Mill River wine.
