DESCRIPTION:The Whittier Home will be hosting its annual Holiday Open House on Sunday\, December 16th from 1:00 to 5:00.  There will be good food and fun things to see and hear!  And it's FREE and open to the public!\n\n\n\nSusan Kapuscinski Gaylord\, brilliant calligraphic artist will be giving a talk on the process she uses to create her works of art.  And her book "Words of Our Time" is on sale in our gift shop.  It would make a loving and meaningful Christmas present!\n\n\n\nAnd of course there will be readings of Whittier's seasonal poetry by Amesbury's past and current Poet Laureates\, Lainie Senechal and Stephen R. Wagner\, and the grand master of Whittier's poetry\, Gus Reusch!\n\n\n\nThere will be great food\, a raffle\, free gift wraping and lots of good old-fashioned friendship in a beautifully decorated setting.\n\n\n\nPlease stop by and see us on Sunday\, December 16th between 1:00 and 5:00
