DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) is hosting a Members Pink House Pop-up Show in the Sculpture Garden this Saturday\, June 14th from 11am-3pm as a participant of the community-wide\, Pink House 100th Celebration Event. Additionally\, on Sunday\, June 15th\, NAA will host a Summer Arts Market in the Sculpture Garden from 10am-2pm.\n\n \n\nThe Pink House was demolished in March after a 10-year effort by the non-profit organization\, Support The Pink House\, to save the beloved icon. Details of all that is happening on Pink House Day can be found at www.supportthepinkhouse.com/100th\n\n \n\nThe participating artists at the Saturday pop-up are Barry Berman\, Bonita LeFlore\, Cathy Grassello\, Debby Hewey\, James Doucette\, John Abisamra\, John Burciaga\, RZ Sadowski\, and Stephen Levin. Also on view in the National Juried Show is "The Calm Before the Storm" by Jayne Mistretta\, featuring the pink house\, on exhibit through July 5th.\n\n \n\nOn Sunday\, June 15th\, NAA will host its first NAA Summer Arts Market\, where visitors can meet the artists and browse their artworks in the Sculpture Garden from 10am-2pm. The participants are Alexander Rybak\, Lisa Pilorz\, Madison Walsh\, Tracy Levesque\, and Vera Struck. There are three more Summer Arts Markets planned for July 20th\, August 17th\, and September 21st. \n\n \n\nHistoric "65 Water Street" has three galleries that are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday\, 11am-5pm and Sunday from 1-5pm. The building is closed on Mondays\, however\, the NAA Sculpture Garden found behind it\, welcomes visitors year-round. \n\n \n\nThe attached yellow building containing the Hills Gallery has a separate entrance with easier accessibility.
