SUMMARY:Walking Tour of Plum Island Point\, Plum Island Beach
DESCRIPTION:Plum Island Outdoors will conduct a walking tour of Plum Island\, Plum Island Point Point\, led by Bill Sargent\, on Sunday\, March 19\, through May 28\, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.\n\n \n\nThe 60-minute walking tours\, rain or shine\, from the Newburyport Beach Parking Lot to the South Jetty via the 69th St. Access Point.  We use the 69th St. Access Point during the Dredging/Beach Replenishing Project.\n\n \n\nDiscuss the result of the state of  North Reservation Terrace and the Newburyport Harbor Maintenance Dredging Project.\n\n \n\nParticipants must maintain at least 6 feet of physical whenever possible.\n\nGiven their length and significant amount of walking\, the tours may not be appropriate for young children or people with disabilities. Plum Island Outdoors\, Inc. is not liable for any accidents. We\, of course\, cannot predict the weather! We will inform people of cancellations via the Plum Island Outdoors Website and our Facebook page.\n\n \n\nTour participants will gather at the restrooms (closed) at the Newburyport Plum Island Beach Parking Lot at 10:00 AM.\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Walk is $10.00. Payable at the start of the walk at the Newburyport Beach Parking Lot.\n\nParking is available at the Newburyport Beach Parking Lot.  Parking is free until the start of the season\, as determined by the Newburyport Harbor Master.
