DESCRIPTION:Trinket or Treasure come find out. GNFCs very own Antique Roadshow-style event!\n\n\n\nDo you have questions about an antique or collectible in your possession? What might it be worth? Any ideas about its history/provenance?\n\n\n\nIf you've ever wondered if that antique in your home is a trinket or a treasure\, then this event is just what you've been waiting for. GNFC members can have their antiques\, collectibles and vintage treasures professionally appraised by Harry W. Hepburn\, III\, owner of Hermitage Antiques in Maine.\n\n\n\nHarry specializes in grandfather and antique clock restoration and repair since 1968\; and country antiques & folk art - in the business continuously since 1971. Harry is a member of the Maine Antique Dealers Association and is a past President of that organization. He is recognized as one of the pre-eminent experts on antique clocks\, both large and small\, in New England\, if not the nation.\n\n\n\nThis evening event is designed as an entertaining and educational way for people interested in the history and the value of antiques & collectibles to come together. Harry will share his expertise and answer questions for attendees.\n\n\n\nThis event will be held at the Newburyport Brewing Co. from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday\, June 27th. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED IN ADVANCE.\n\n\n\nThere is a nominal charge of $5 for GNFC members and $10 for non members to have up to two items appraised.\n\n\n\nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required   so please reserve your spot today! Register Here\n\n\n\nAppetizers will be provided and beer is available for purchase at the Brewery. \n\n\n\n**Items that can be brought to this appraisal event are: clocks\, furniture\, folk art\, silver\, coins\, stamps\, rugs\, pottery\, porcelain\, toys\, dolls\, wood carvings\, ivory items...(so many more!). \n\n\n\nItems that are not included at this event are: fine art/paintings\, musical instruments and oriental pieces (excluding rugs).
