\n \;\n\nOn Earth Day 4/22/2022 the Commonwealth of Massachusetts committed to revised greenhouse gas emission targets. \; By 2050 Massachusetts must meet net-zero emissions and a level of emissions that is no more than 85% of the 1990 emissions. \; The state will announce revised targets for 2030 by July 1\, 2022. \; \;

\n \;\n\nNewburyport Recycling and Energy Manager\, Molly Ettenborough and Mike Strauss\, Chair of the Newburyport Energy Advisory Committee (EAC) will speak on green-house gas emissions in Newburyport\, residential electric supply aggregation\, city ordinances enacted last year and future changes. \; If you have questions about the future electrification of Newburyport homes and cars\, please come and join the discussion. \; \;
