DESCRIPTION:Volunteer health professionals from event sponsor Portsmouth Regional Hospital will be on hand with museum staff to register animals\, issue ID bracelets\, perform health check-ups\, share information about healthy eating and exercise\, and conduct minor surgery on furry friends in need of repair. This event is designed to not only be fun\, but also help children who may be afraid of visiting the doctor. Children are able to play the role of parents as they take their stuffed animal through each step of the clinic and will receive a certificate of good health at the end of their appointment.\n\n \n\nA tea party for children and their "guests" will follow the Teddy Bear Clinic from 12-12:30 pm with organic milk and cookies provided by Stonyfield Farm and fresh fruit generously donated by Fiddlehead Farms Marketplace.
