Help us kick off a magical weekend on Thursday afternoon with the tempting and delicious annual lighting of our giant Gingerbread House.\n\n \n\nDATE:  Thursday\, November 20\n\nTIME:  5:30pm\n\nLOCATION:  In the lobby of Seaglass Restaurant and the new Blue Ocean Event Center\n\nWHAT:  Salisbury Beach Present & Future -- a Giant Gingerbread and Candy House.  Help with the countdown as Newburyport resident Jim Shalkoski-- designer/builder/baker extraordinaire--and friends unveil the 2014 confectionary masterpiece for the holiday season.\n\n \n\nBigger than ever\, the 8-foot-high by 8-foot-wide centerpiece brings to life the Salisbury Beach of the future--complete with a boardwalk\, performance amphitheater and renovated waterfront landscape\, all embellished with lights\, sound\, molded chocolate figures\, colorful signage\, and a grand Broadway Mall Christmas tree.  From the present  Seaglass Restaurant\, By the Sea Gifts\, Blue Ocean Music Hall\, SurfSide's giant deck\, Pioneers Surf Shop and other beach icons are all woven together into one fabulous whimsical creation.  \n\n \n\nCookies and cocoa will be served following the lighting.
