The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce &\; Industry is proud to announce the launch of \;The Port of Wonder\, \;a month-long celebration transforming downtown Newburyport into a festive holiday destination from November 30 through December 25\, 2025.

\n\nLed by the newly established Downtown Business Advisory Council of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry\, this collaborative initiative brings together local businesses\, community organizations\, and residents to create a magical holiday experience that celebrates the best of Newburyport &mdash\; from shopping and dining to family traditions and waterfront charm.

\n\n·\; \; \; \; \; \; \; \; \;Holiday Musicals &\; Sing-Alongs at Firehouse Center for the Arts and on the Square

\n\nThe celebration will begin with the lighting of the Market Square Christmas Tree\, adorned by Red Nose Decorators (Fanuel Hall Decorators)\, \;and continue with weekend programming designed to drive engagement\, joy\, and commerce throughout the downtown district ( State Street\, Inn Street\, Pleasant Street\, Market Square\, Water Street to the Tannery).
