DESCRIPTION:The Pennies for Poverty Fundraiser presents Liz Frame and the Kickers returning to the Firehouse Stage. The band has just returned from a six state three-week tour of the mid-Atlantic that saw them playing rooms in Nashville\, Washington DC and Raleigh\, among other cities.\n\n\n\nPennies for Poverty\, a greater Newburyport nonprofit organization\, is dedicated to alleviating poverty in our area in innovative ways. We help support the Salvation Army and Community Action in Newburyport\, Pettengill House in Salisbury\, Our Neighbor's Table and Community Action in Amesbury by providing them with cash that we raise in the community\, and by providing them with gift cards that we have purchased from local farms and food stores.
