DESCRIPTION:Join us for a dog walk to help put FUN on the calendars of women and their families LIVING with breast cancer by sending them on special vacations\, relaxing spa days\, to concerts and other FUN activities. Dog lovers and walkers with or without dogs are welcome at this first annual event.\n\n\n\nAlong the walk\, we'll have professional photographers capturing shareable shots of walkers and their dogs\, a raffle\, snacks for humans and canines\, and more.\n\n\n\nKaren Wellington was diagnosed with breast cancer at 30\, and she never let it define her. Karen's dream was that once she beat cancer\, each year her family would send another family living with breast cancer on vacation. She wanted to help ensure that others had the chance to put something fun on their calendars\; something other than chemo\, radiation\, surgery and doctor appointments. Karen sadly never beat this disease\, and when she died her family and friends established KWF to provide gifts of fun to other women with breast cancer. We're working on that goal every day here in New England!
